A Strategic Endorsement

I have removed my endorsement of Chuck Baldwin due to a comment made by a radio personality, "no fire in the belly."  We have not seen anything from a third party candidate.   Therefore I feel that going through the motions makes you incompetent for the job.   However, the most important reason for changing my opinion is strategic.  I believe that McCain and Obama are two different sides of the same coin.   They stand the same on the important issues and in some way McCain has been more prominent in his leftist views, immigration, bailout, government corruption....   However, we must look at our enemies in totality media, demagogues in office, and most pollsters.  Who would benefit these 3 entities the most, an Obama win.   With a McCain win the media, the pollsters, and demagogues such as Pelosi and Reed would lose all credibility, media and pollsters that is.   Pelosi, Reed, Wrangle despite being on the same side as McCain on all of the important issues would lose power, not gain.

McCain has been the instrument as much as Bush that has destroyed the Republican party.  Bush in the White House and McCain as a leader in congress.  I believe that those who have influenced him wrote the McCain Feingold bill, not for campaign reform, but for what has ended up happening.   Those new to politics find it harder to raise money.   Thus those already in congress that have lobbyists lining up outside their offices form pacs arrange for employees of major corporations to give money in large sums.   This has given incumbents an unbelievable edge.  Short of a scandal on the Republican side incumbents are in for life, creating a monarchy of sorts.  Democrats have different standards and survive even scandal.  They also have the media to release scandals so as not to hurt, drunk driving, tax evasion, and even bribe money in a freezer not a problem.  This my friends is not a problem thanks to McCain.  McCain went to the least compromised Democrat before introducing the bill.   U see Feingold  one of the only ones in Congress to not have succumbed to amassing wealth at the cost of the people he should represent.  This alliance with Feingold gave the bill credibility and helped repair John's reputation after the Keating 5 scandal.  Make no mistake about this bill the intentions of the bill are probably closer to the reality of what has happened in Congress in the last 20 years than campaign reform.  Incumbents not having to answer to the people they represent and the growth of corruption is evidenced by the current lowest approval rating in congres and unbridled spending.

The bail out another result of the disconnect lead by McCain-  The bail-out make no mistake about it after the donors to all those corrupt in congress that voted for it get their cut it will end up in the coffers of these voters of the bail-out,  their campaign fund war chests.   Thus we will have even more of a disconnect to a self created aristocracy in Washington DC.  One must not forget the let them eat cake remarks of McCain and Company.  When arguing for the McCain-Kennedy bill he said "no American will pick lettuce for $50 an hour."  And how about his friend Lindsey Graham "the loud people need to shut up."   This resembled remarks made by Queen Diane Feinstein.

No question McCain has been detrimental to our economy, liberty, and representation of our leaders.  However, Obama and the people he will empower will be tough to overcome.   Weakening his power base including those that have put up McCain as his opponent will be one of the most important steps to regaining our power as citizens and not slaves to the government.   We need to neuter to "lame stream" media and their pollsters and take the arrogance of Pelosi, Feinstein and friends one notch down.

Once in office we can work on McCain.   Accountability is the only thing that will save this country in the long run.   Where ever that takes us with McCain is good.  I am not opposed to impeachment if treason is found, after all he is Bush 3.   We are all mad at the direction this country has taken.   The stock market was the most stable in the last few weeks when investors thought accountability not bailout would prevail.  Law and order is what has separated this country from others in the past.  With unequal enforcement of the law there is no liberty.  We have seem immigration laws unequally enforced and corporate law bypassed to those who contribute heavily to Washington DC incumbents.   Finally, with the degradation of checks and balances in government it seems that the president has had power to erode the economy and erode freedoms and the rule of law (which is the foundation of the security people around the world envy and use to try to emulate).   So, by having McCain have to straighten up the mess he created and do nothing of his agenda we will go far.  One of the solutions on the cost of the bailout is to have all those who voted yes for this bill empty their campaign coffers.  It is pretty illuminating that the so-called maverick earmark reformer made no comment about the $150 billion in earmarks to the bailout.  As president it will be therapeutic for America to have him answer to this in a meaningful way.

Yes, I do have the "NEITHER ONE" bumper sticker for sale on Craigslist.  However, this does refer back to the blog which explains this.   I still believe it  and proudly will keep it on my car but since we need to remedy the checks and balances problem before we can expect change in the right direction as a matter of strategy not adulation, we must vote for McCain.

Trickle Down Anarchy

With Reagan it was trickle down prosperity, but with Bush it is trickle down anarchy.  Starting with selective enforcement of immigration laws and ending up with congress run amuck and having the biggest bank robbery ever in the history of man.   This "my friends" or "fellow prisoners" is trickling down.  Buckle your seatbelts.    The wild west is here in the form of DC double speak.   Fellow Americans these scums in Washington resemble more of what our founding fathers declared independence from to the nth degree than what they would ever condone.   Our founding fathers would arrest or expel all that is in DC save but a few.

Review of 2nd "Presidential" Debate

Naomi and Eric endured the debate at the Gathering with dinner at the bar (needed).  Eric says that it was reminiscent of a highschool debate team.  However, we all thought twice and agreed it was worse.  As Eric made impersonations of Charlie Browns' teacher.  Wah, wah, wah.  Will anyways as I am writing this, I realize there is a lot I should not say.  In closing they both have no clue .  My final thought is in regard to both senators accomplishments is that being a senator is easier than robbing  a bank.   We both agreed that watching them wrestle naked would be more substantive than what they had to say collectively.    That is my review.  Look forward to the next one.

Signing off,
Nomi

Not a Question of McCain or Obama But Which Third Party Candidate

From all my research I will not vote for McCain and Obama.   Character is important.   For me it is a matter of Constitution, Chuck Baldwin or Boson Tea Party, Charles Jay.  My thoughts are that I like the name of the Boston Tea Party and both candidates have more character than the two other guys.   However, Chuck Baldwin has more gravitas.  We need someone with a serious disposition to handle the problems that he will inherit.  These are problems exacerbated by the leaders of congress, McCain and Obama.

Read my previous post to see the involvement of the Democrat and Republican candidate in the bail out scandal.
