Is The Experience of Surrendering & Being A Prisoner Of War..

...sufficient war experience to run a war?!    In McCain's case, NO.   His surrendering and capitulating is seen time and again within his leadership in the Republican party.  This is not the type of war or senate experience we need!  He spent most of his experience in war as  a  surrendered prisoner and  has run the Republican party into the ground during his tenure in congress.   During McCains leadership the once strong party that vowed a contract with America  has been turned into a party best typified by statements such as "no American will pick lettuce for $50/hr."  Or is now a party that is known as the lets -make- a -deal -with -my- campaign- contributors -and- run -their -companies -into- the- ground -while- the- CEOs -make- out and- the -taxpayer -bails- out -the -company- party.     Or the family- values -don't- stop -at -the -Rio Grande -and -lets- expand -social- programs -and -criminal -enterprises-into- the- once -Nation- of- Laws -Party.  About the war, water boarding is torture?!   Oh my, is he serious about fighting a war or just surrendering to a long long torture for us war.  Other than his war experience, his other claim to fame is a hot head.  Yes grow up if you think McCain will appoint conservative judges who may overturn "McCain Feingold."  Peggy Noonan had an article about Bush destroying the Republican party.   I say McCain has the lead on this with all his sabotoge and/or capitulation while the party was in power.   He is seeing it to its end.  The proof is in all the bills  he has co authored that has damaged the US and disenchanted many who once called themselves Republicans.  And all the campaign contributors that have received maybe not earmarks but favorable legislation(La Raza is no exception) I won't even get into that, but only say campaign finance reform may not have been the goal of the so named bill he coauthored.  It seemed to be Anti-American.

Michael Medved Is a .....

.... a countryclub Republican on steroids.   This is my definition of a neocon.  A former big government liberal who realized one could join up with the countryclub Republican and achieve an even bigger government.   By the way these neocons love to manipulate intellectual Jews like me into equating the use of the word neocon with anti-semitism.   Bill Kristol, the so called Beltway Boys, Cheney, Rumsfeld are all neocons or countryclub Republicans on steroids.  This stigmatizing of the use of the word neocon as some kind of racist or antisemetic word is not working with me.   Neocon actually has more to do with going to Yale, Harvard,.... and hobnobbing with the country club Republicans who also go to these Ivy League American trashing schools.    So as these ivy leaguers take over the government so goes deficit spending in government growth, mass devaluation of the dollar, and a subsequent rise in price in commodities tied to the dollar such as oil.   No wonder the Democrats get along so well with this administration.   Or is it the other way around, didn't that one country club Republican try his best to ensure a Democrat congress.  Rumsfeld could have been given his walking papers before the last elections.  It is all fun and games spending the dollar into the ground.
