A Few Thoughts Week Ending 11/17

Great presidents, 2 of them happen to be Democrats.  Shocking.  The best in the last century seem to be Teddy, Harry, John, and Ronald.  I am watching War Stories about Harry Truman.  What a contrast to the ADD style of fighting a war that the current president has.

The other area of thought is the legal system.  What the heck has the ACLU and our demoralized culture done to our legal system?  Jury of our peers?  What the heck with diversity a high priority how could that exist?  How many of our jurors on mind altering drugs?  What kind of games do the lawyers play to keep information from a juror to get the pertinent story?  Or we back to caveman days when an uncivil litigant clubs one over the head with the club of a lawyer veiled in "law" and pick a random club of a "jury of ones peers"?  How could law exist with a jury these days?  Short of kicking the ACLU and their diseased ways that have infiltrated our "civilized" ways we are back to the days of cavemen were it is not reason, we have devolved into a scary frakenstein hodgepodge of laws contorted by craziness.   This is the fault of the most spoiled generation in our history who while the communist destructiveness of the ACLU type were destroying what made good men from all over the world dream of the statue of liberty thought only of going to Yale, Columbia, UCLA... and get ahead in their own field didn't pay any attention to the destructiveness of civilized rules being ruled "unconstitutional" by those suffering from a drug hazed like philosophy.  For example what did our parents do when our seized courts ruled  the overwhelmingly popular prop 187  not a valid law and struck it down.  Nothing.   They were busy.  This coddled generation is the first in our history to see their children live in dangerously devolving society in so many ways.

Lastly,  I never thought I would want to travel to France.  However, my friend just let me know that she has a time share type deal and she may be able to get us there in a year.  With my miles I can possibly get the tickets.   I hope Sarkozi is still available.

Whoops, lastly, I think Duncan Hunter has a chance.  Have my Duncan Hunter sticker on my car don't know about you.  Rudy represents to me all the worst of the babyboomer generation.  He will cause a civil war in the party.  More so than Hilary in her own.  We, as Republicans would be making a bigger mistake than the Dems with Hillary.

Btw, I gave up on the third party notion with little response to my first post.  However, if Rudy is nominated I will go third party for sure.

Just a couple of thoughts.    Have a great week and I will try to do the same.

Disappearing Posts

I was very upset to discover I couldn't access a post  on Medved's blog.  I will actually republicize, not the post but the comments as I have saved it.  His post was titled "Is April the "Cruellest Month"?"   This was about the time of the great amnesty debate and was posted April 20th of this year.  You see in that month Medved was dispersing Bush, Chertoff, and La Raza's propoganda -Basically, that the illegals need a "pathway to citizenship,"  "family values don't stop at the Rio Grande",  you are a racist if you make illegals follow immigration laws, and further  an extremist that wants to deport all illegals if you are not for amnesty......

So to this post I responded and titled the response -I just heard One of the Lamest Arguments

This is pretty cruel in the month of April listenning to to your lame justification for amnesty.  Please let me know where you get the figure of hubrous to say that if we enforce the law 50% of the illegals will leave and they will be the good ones and the other 50% will stay and they will be the bad ones?  Maybe you and your friend Cheney have enough money to support this subsidized class that will grow exponentially for the sake of corporate profits.  What study are you talking about that sites that only the "good" illegals will leave with enforcement?  We are not buying for one minute that ther will be a government beaurocracy big enough to verify all the b.s. documentation for the "good" illegal versus the "bad" illegal to get the "pathway to citizenship."  Also, why don't you respect the fact that we don't believe that if amnesty passes any of the enforcement will be followed.  No that can't be.  Afterall, the politicians don't seem easily bought by the various industries including the Mexican government that benefit from no enforcement of immigration laws along with health codes(e-coli).  No that hasn't happenned before.  No Ramos and Campeon weren't prosecuted with any pressure from the Mexican government.  All aspects of your argument are weak.  And what about Mexico's delay in reform because we take in this class of people.  In this month of April quit being cruel to us and the good Mexicans that have weathered through corruption in Mexico and start getting real.  Getting rid of slavery at one point was unimagineable in our history.  Lincoln I imaginge looked like an extremist.  You my friend you need to be more intellectualy honest.  Lets get back to basics.  Convoluted plans are normally made to confuse and decieve.

Surprisingly Medved responded and titled the response "50% Figure"

"The 50% figure comes from Pat Buchanan-- one of the leading anti-immigration demogogues out there.  It's on page 267 of his book...provides the most OPTIMISTIC estimate of the impact of the policy of"attrition." .... "Outlawing" illegal immigration(it's already outlawed, law actually) won't stop illegals from living here, any more than outlawing gun ownership will stop gun crime.  In both cases,  your new laws would only impact those who are inclined to follow the law anyway."

My response -Thank You For Your Reply &  This Is Mine

Like I said this is a government subsidized and criminal activity subsidized class.  The same people working "hard" are taking welfare at the same time and having babies at the cost of SSI and the elderly.  What a coincidence that Bush just last year said Social Security is not a guaranteed while at the same time saying family values don't stop at the Rio Grande. Come one come all, there are goodies to be had.  No the "good" ones aren't choosing to abstain from having children and collecting from government programs.  I find it hard to believe that you site (more like twist)your data for figures of "good" versus "bad" illegals from a book that you call demogoguery.  ...

There was no follow up from Medved.   Another unbelievable tactic of open border "conservatives" is the following:  Focus and say you support things that won't pass. Chertoff's virtual fence never worked, tamper proof id, ... This distracts us from enforcement now, while illegals continue to come here and anchorbabies continue to be born. This is a lesson in keeping focused. Enforce the border now. Keep on demanding this and uncovering the corruption that is standing in the way of enforcement. Homeland security is just a mouth piece and arm of the SPP and Mexico's elite. Remember Chertoff's push for amnesty and the $30 a head of lettuce scare, negotiating with the governor of New York on how to get illegals drivers license, and yes that Chertoff tries to convince us that he in fact is in favor of enforcement but only through the virtual fence. By the way after $10 billion contract given and substantially paid to his buddies at Boeing the virtual fence just isn't working. Surprise, surprise.
